The Christmas “season” is upon us. Everyone’s rushing from one event to another or scurrying to find the next, best savings. Let’s not forget to take a minute to stop, remember why we celebrate Christmas, and thank God for sending His precious and prefect Son, Jesus to be our eternal gift of salvation. Then, look around you and thank Him for the people in your life. None of us are promised another day. “Whereas ye know not whatshall beon the morrow. For whatisyour life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away.” James 4:14. As I was trying to think of what to write for today’s post, the lovely time my husband and I had, decorating our Christmas tree together today, came to mind. It reminded me how easy it is to get caught up with the busyness of the season and take for granted the simple moments like this. Let us all remember to take in and enjoy every moment spent with those you love, during this season. Cherish the memories made and count your blessings.
