Hey readers! hope this finds you all well.

today we are going to let you all in on some behind the 'scenes' work of our western trilogy series. {The Frontier Avenger Trilogy #1}

When writing a fictional book that is back in time (like the late 1800's) it may help your readers feel like its really happening! and one way to help with that is by having your characters in real historical places!

For example:

All of the towns and cities-with the exception of the fictional town of Marlow Springs-really existed in Nevada. The caves in this story are now known as "the Lehman Caves" but had not been given this name in the year the story takes place.

Little things like this really adds to the story and gives it a since of realism!

Also another way is to research what different historical events took place during that time era and general area and then have your characters mention it in passing or it's on a news paper etc...

Here are a few links to the actual real places our book characters were in!
