What Will You Do With Your Little Time?

What are you going to do with your little time?

James 4:14 KJV

“Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away.”

The other year I was sitting on the left side of a church building, listening to the man of God telling a story of an advent that had happened in the past. He began to talk about a church that I believe he used to work at. They had a “bus” route with which they would picked up kids to go to church. They ended up inviting a young girl around the age of seven. That little girl ended up coming to church and after hearing the Gospel, God began to work in her heart. She was convicted that she was a sinner and knew that she was heading to hell without Christ. She trusted Christ as her personal Lord and Savoiur! She asked Christ to forgive her of her sins and to save her!

Not too long a after they were coming to visit the young girl at her house and as they approached it they saw smoke. The smoke was coming from the girl’s home...the little girl didn’t make it out of there.

Yes this is sad. One of the worst ways to leave this life, but praise the Lord this little girl had trusted Jesus Christ as her personal Lord and Saviour! I’m glad she was ready.

We do not know when our last day on earth will be, but be sure friend, it is coming.

Hebrews 9:27 KJV

“And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:”

We all have a day appointed for when we will die. We do not know when, but it is coming!

That little girl didn’t know that would be her last night when she went to sleep. Death is no respecter of persons or your age. We all have a little time here on earth.

“For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away.”

What will you do with your little time?

It’s running out...what will it be?

Will you put your faith and trust in the Blood of Jesus Christ to wash away your sins?

John 3:3 “Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.”

Jesus was talking a about the Spiritual birth. And tells us how to be born again / saved!

John 3:16-18

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.”

This believing isn’t us believing that there is a God but rather believing on Him and Him alone to redeem us from our sin! We all are born sinners!

Romans 3:23 “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;”

Romans 6:23 “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”

Ephesians 2:8-9 “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.”

Romans 10:9 “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.”

What will you do with your little time?

It’s running out...what will it be?

Will you put your faith and trust in the Blood of Jesus Christ to wash away your sins?
