Dear Readers,
It’s been a crazy week. Not only have we been busy with the normal work load but also working late every night on our church building project. It has been a blast and is so exciting watching it all come together! Needless to say though, I’ve lost track of days and thought that today was Friday...then a sister of mine kindly reminded me that today was Saturday, lol. Well...still wanted to get something out to y’all. Thank you for your patience! The building project made me think of how we should build our lives on the Lord. I asked Rustic Quill Writers’ poet, HeatherJoy to write us one dealing with this theme. She never disappoints! Stay tuned for more of her poems in the months to come.

While foundations of men easily lure
with lustful convenience to ensure
It won’t stand the waves of time
proving sin’s attraction to be grime
Our foundation on God standeth strong His unchanging Word an unmovable rock Sweet foundation of refuge is our song As life’s waves thrust-We’re safe all along
